Can you believe that stretching your legs can help your LOW BACK PAIN.  Start by lying on your stomach, bringing your heel to your buttock, wrap a towel around your ankle, and gently pull your heel to your buttock.  It may take a while. Make sure to hold each stretch for 15-30 seconds, eventurally this will become easy.  After a few weeks of this stretch, 3-5 times / day, place a pillow on a telephone book, and start again.  Once your thigh muscles are stretched  out there will be less stress on your pelvis, and less stress on your lower back.  Call our office if you need more instructions.
